You found a treasure chart!

Alu and I are having a difficult time figuring out what to do with our lives. We were looking into taking a manual machining course, but have come to the realization that that's not really a viable career path. Now we're sort of thinking about welding instead. The problem with that at the moment is that the course is three times longer and more expensive. I feel like either one of those would be pretty all right with out the other, but here we are.

We've thought a few times about making board games for a living, but that's not particularly easy to get into either, although it would probably be a lot more fun. We're becoming worried that the only way to get out of CaptionCall is to advance within the company to the point where we're making enough money to fund our escape more easily.

Sometimes the only way out is down.

This morning I weighed 179.5 lbs.

Yesterday, I ate:

~  Three pancakes
~ A cup of pasta
~ A cup of yogurt with granola
~ A bowl of cheesy pasta

It feels like we did a lot today, though I'm not sure how much we really accomplished. We went to the school and asked about the welding class, though the front desk people didn't seem to know much about any one particular course. I'm thinking I'll probably email the person in charge of that department and see if I can get any more information from them.

In the mean time, we're playing Wind Waker HD on the Wii U to wind down. It's one of my favorite games and Alucolor hasn't played it before, so she's taking the reins and I get to watch. I like watching people figure out puzzles in games that I've already beaten. It's sort of like being able to play them again from scratch. Shadow of the Colossus in particular is a fun one to watch people play for the first time because I never really got to figure out a bunch of the fights, so it's unusual and fun to watch people who aren't sure what to do.

Maybe tomorrow we can get a little further into figuring out where we should be going in life.

Take it easy!
