Praise Dog

Alu and I have toyed with the idea of starting a cult centered around dogs. We love dogs and have gone into detail conceiving of a dog heaven, presided over by a giant, benevolent buddy. All dogs go to this heaven and live forever in eternal goodness. All humans end up on this plane as well, however only those who have been good to dogs will be happy there, playing with dogs and doing whatever else they'd like for all time, as long as that does not involve harming dogs or other animals or people. Those who are deemed worthy will be able to summon objects at will, however said objects will disappear the moment they would be used to harm others. All who dwell in dog heaven are accompanied by a designated dog buddy. Those who have been good to dog in life will live in harmony with their respective buddies as well as the buddies of others.

Meanwhile, those who, in life, have shown malice toward dog will be assigned their least favorite dog as a buddy. This buddy will disregard his "hooman" as they will be called until he/she learns to love and respect all dog, including this buddy.

Those who prefer other animals but who accept in their hearts the goodness of dog in life shall also be treated well, receiving a designated a buddy of their chosen animal instead. They will not be actively bothered by dog, but are more than welcome to interact with dog at any time. The inverse applies to those with dog buddies.

Ultimately, those who accept all animals as friends shall be among the highest in the eyes of Dog.

~ A bag of cheez-its

~ A bowl of pasta

~ A bowl of salad with Morning Star buffalo nuggets

　

I've been sewing a bit lately. I'm trying to stitch up an old shirt of mine that Alu has adopted as one of her favorites. The stitches look pretty ratty, but not as bad as the holes that used to be there, so that's a step in the right direction, I guess.
