Our Job is Pretty Boring

As I’m sure you can tell from this blog our job is pretty boring if you have nothing to do, but sometimes the things you do to distract you from the boredom also distract you from the job itself. A common problem I assume everyone we work with experiences. We caption calls for the hard of hearing, and our clientele are more towards the older end of the spectrum. Meaning their conversations are mainly about their bridge games and what medications they need refilled. So it’s a boring gig, some calls are really interesting but most are asking “What did you have for dinner? Oh yeah I had this for dinner, cooked this way with this side dish and afterwards I had this desert, I know I shouldn’t have had but it was a cheat day!” So Rok and I build gunpla, read comics/mangas, mess with our Pokémon decks, and desperately try to watch gundam in between calls, the whole 10 seconds there is.

Today I weighed: 210 lbs

Yesterday I ate:
> A pineapple smoothie
> About 2 cups of plain pasta
> A yogurt cup
> A cheesy bean and rice burrito from Taco Bell
> A loaded potato griller from the same
> and finally a very cheesy yet not saucy quesadilla

Yesterday I drank: Not enough water

It’s a boring job but it can get interesting or is good for college students to get there homework done but for the most part it pays Rok and I’s bills so we continue working there. So anyway:
