Numbness

As far as I know, I'm done going to the dentist for a while. I had a bunch of broken fillings and stuff, so I've been in that chair a lot lately and even though my dentist is really friendly and good at his job, I'm not a huge fan of not being able to move half of my face. It's going back to normal, but I'm still having a bit of trouble closing my eye and my jaw is still sore from the injections. As it turns out I need more anesthetic than normal, which means I get twice the shots, and it lasts longer, which is not the best, but it's better than feeling teeth drilling.

This morning I weighed 187.6 lbs

Yesterday I ate

- A bowl of cereal
- A cup of stir fried carrots
- A cup of Siggi's
- A plate of nachos

So now that my teeth are ostensibly fixed up, I hopefully won't have to do that anymore!

Cooking shows

I really like watching cooking shows. I'm not sure why, I don't plan on ever making the food they do, but there is something about watching skilled chefs make beautifully delicious looking food. Rok also enjoys these show so that works out really well for us. More recently we have started to watch more cooking channels on YouTube. We now watch Binging with Babish and Bon Appetit. I used to watch Hellthy JunkFood, but recently their content hasn't appealed to me as much as it used to. We also watch the Great British Bake Off on Netflix, but unfortunately Netflix doesn't offer many other cooking show options that I can find. I have been curious to look into Chef's table but we haven't gotten there yet. Tiny Cat Kidneys

Our cat Monty has been getting over a kidney infection. As such, I had the privilege to learn how difficult it can be to make a cat swallow medication. We also had to learn to administer a subcutaneous fluid drip every few days to make sure he stays properly hydrated. Fortunately, he's been recovering well, drinking his water and eating his expensive, new medicated food. We took him into the vet today to make sure he's totally back to normal, but now we have to wait for a urine test to come back. At least we got his vaccinations and stuff renewed, so that's good. This morning, I weighed 195.8 Today I ate ~Three small chocolate covered muffin tops ~A pull apart twizzler ~Half a bowl of cheesy pasta from Noodles ~A cat mug of ice cream ~An Amy's pesto tortellini bowl ~Two slices of cheese pizza On an unrelated note, I've been cleaning up our kitchen and I'm hoping to keep it that way this time. We moved!

We're still pushing boxes around, but the worst is over, so we can get back to blogging irregularly and streaming sometimes! Although we are also planning on changing jobs soon, so maybe it's not over after all! We've officially submitted our final assignments for our machining course, so once they get graded, we should have our certifications and our instructor was helping us look for jobs to apply for and put in a good word for us with a place where he's sent students in the past with good results. So come July, we might be making parts for spinal implants, which sounds pretty rad. Much better than listening to people's phone calls all day. And we'd get a swing shift with four 10 hour days, which I think sounds ideal, so we get to sleep until we wake up and then get a weekend and then some! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high, since we don't actually have the job yet. Especially because we won't actually get to start until July after a pla...
