Mental Clutter
Preface:
This was meant for Tuesday, 8/14, but apparently I hit the wrong button and it just saved as a draft instead.
I enjoy Dragon Ball. Like a lot of people my age, I grew up catching bits and pieces of it on Toonami when I was able to get home from school in time and, along with shows like Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, it set in motion a lifelong fascination with Japanese media and culture (although not as large a fascination as many have).
That said, I used to be far more obsessed with Dragon Ball in almost any medium, to the point where the words "dragon ball" used to dominate any and every one of my active thought processes, regardless of their relevance and unfortunately, this has remained the case somewhat. Often, when I'm trying to remember something or come to some conclusion, I haven't been thinking for more than a few seconds when the word "dragon" comes to mind, despite almost never being at all relevant. I've been thinking about this a bit recently and have decided that I'm tired of the waste of time and mental power, however slight, that this constitutes, but I have no idea what to do about it.
This morning, I weighed 188.5 lbs.
Yesterday, I ate:
~ An apple sauce pouch
~ Two peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich
~ Half a mozzarella grilled cheese
~ Half a frozen strawbery lemonade
~ An Amy's broccoli cheddar bake
~ Two makeshift garlic breadsticks
Alu and I are finishing up on a 1/48 scale Unicorn Gundam model today. I'm consistently taken off guard by how big the parts are and overall, it's a rather impressive model, if not the most detailed or articulate. More things to post pictures of when I get around to it.
Take it easy!
