Reading Books for Other People

I like voiceover work. I've done a few things for Fallout mods and abridged series and things, but nothing that's really taken off at all. I'd like to be able to do that kind of stuff for a living, but first I'll have to work on being consistent with it. I think my biggest problem is I pretty much drop it for months at a time, and obviously that's not the best for building a career.

I've found a couple of websites recently where people set up audiobooks. One is called ACX, and I've heard a couple of people say they've gotten books up on Audible from there, so that could be neat. But I think I'll start with Librivox, which is more dedicated to public domain texts and readers are determined on a first-come first-serve basis regardless of skill or experience, so it sounds like a good practice run if nothing else.

This morning, I weighed 191.6 lbs.

Yesterday I ate:

- A bowl of blueberry chex

- Pasta

- Pancakes

- Eggs

- Veggie sausage patties

I'm hoping to try doing a reading for Librivox tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. I think it should be a neat experience if nothing else. I haven't done any voiceover work for quite a while, so I'm hoping it sticks this time.

Take it easy!
