Vegetables
I've never been a fan of vegetables, which is a shame because I'm aware that they're the healthiest thing you can eat most of the time. It makes it difficult to make healthy meals when the thing that makes them healthy is something I don't want to eat. I'm also not a fan of the idea of not liking food in general. It's so arbitrarily limiting for my body to just refuse to swallow certain foods for no good reason. I've been trying to find a way around that for a good while now, but I haven't figured anything out just yet. I've heard putting some carrots and broccoli on a pan and drizzling some oil and salt and pepper over them and baking them for a bit can help with that but we'll see. It's a bit embarrassing that I haven't tried something so simple yet, especially since I heard about that a while ago.
This morning, I weighed in at 191.3 lbs.
Yesterday, I ate:
- A pineapple, strawberry and banana smoothie
- A can of chili
- A cup of siggi's yogurt
- Several carrots w/ ranch
- Two frozen burritos
- An Amy's pot pie
Figuring out how to enjoy vegetables would certainly help in the weight loss, so I'll have to push harder for it.
