We are still sick

Rok and I are still sick but we don't have any sick time left, so we are at work today. And it's mesirable. We can hardly think, out throats are dry, we have headaches, ech.

Cooking shows

I really like watching cooking shows. I'm not sure why, I don't plan on ever making the food they do, but there is something about watching skilled chefs make beautifully delicious looking food. Rok also enjoys these show so that works out really well for us. More recently we have started to watch more cooking channels on YouTube. We now watch Binging with Babish and Bon Appetit. I used to watch Hellthy JunkFood, but recently their content hasn't appealed to me as much as it used to. We also watch the Great British Bake Off on Netflix, but unfortunately Netflix doesn't offer many other cooking show options that I can find. I have been curious to look into Chef's table but we haven't gotten there yet. Some Thoughts on Various Things

I can't really think of one thing to blog about today. I could blog about FMA vs FMAB, but I don't think I have enough to say to fill out a blog. I was thinking maybe I could blog about Rok's present again, but I feel I have said a lot on that already. I could blog about Gods again, but I also feel I have said a bit much about that. So I decided I would blog a little bit about several things I am thinking about today. So here goes. I think that FMA the 2003 version has a better start then Brotherhood does. I feel Brotherhood skips over a lot and rushes through to where the stories really depart. And I feel there is some merit to that but I don't feel it was done very well in this case and I didn't appreciate all of the sudo-comedic scenes, they were too cartoony and I think they didn't fit well with what I was expecting from Brotherhood. Tiny Cat Kidneys

Our cat Monty has been getting over a kidney infection. As such, I had the privilege to learn how difficult it can be to make a cat swallow medication. We also had to learn to administer a subcutaneous fluid drip every few days to make sure he stays properly hydrated. Fortunately, he's been recovering well, drinking his water and eating his expensive, new medicated food. We took him into the vet today to make sure he's totally back to normal, but now we have to wait for a urine test to come back. At least we got his vaccinations and stuff renewed, so that's good. This morning, I weighed 195.8 Today I ate ~Three small chocolate covered muffin tops ~A pull apart twizzler ~Half a bowl of cheesy pasta from Noodles ~A cat mug of ice cream ~An Amy's pesto tortellini bowl ~Two slices of cheese pizza On an unrelated note, I've been cleaning up our kitchen and I'm hoping to keep it that way this time.
