Rok's Dumb Late Birthday Gift
The gift I was making for Rok was supposed to be a Christmas gift, then it was supposed to be his birthday gift, then when it wasn’t done by his birthday it was supposed to be done by his birthday party, now it has been several months and I am still working on it. I guess my next goal is just to get it done before his next birthday. Maybe I can finish it before Christmas this year. I have been working on it a lot but I still don't see an end in sight yet, it was a rather ambitious gift to start with (Oh also I am sorry I am not saying specifically what it is, Rok will probably read this. I will probably make a post about it when it is finished and Rok has seen it, or maybe he can make a post about it.)
But anyway, back to the point. It was a ambitious gift that I didn't realize would be so much work. But here I am stressing myself out because I haven't met a single deadline so I can give it to Rok. I am going to hopefully work on it all day today and get at least close to finishing, hopefully. I want to get it done and I have put so much time and effort that I want Rok to finally open. But I am still far off from that. I still have so much to do. I am getting more and more frustrated.
I would just show the bits I have done to Rok and by like "This is what it is, now I can openly work on it and I don't have to get it done by a certain time." But he doesn't want to see it till it is done. Now that the party has passed I have less stress about not having it done, since he knows he will get it when it is done. But I still want to get it done pretty soon. If I could work on it at my job it would probably be done already. We can do things when we aren't on calls like watch videos and things but in order to finish this gift I need to have to use my laptop and that is not going to fly unfortunately. So I am stuck working on it after work until it is finished. sgh. But I know he will love it and that is keeping me going. So until I finish this dumb stupid gift that I regret thinking of:
